This Pink Candy Sugar Skull Magnet is designed in the shape of a skull with decorative floral design that has been inspired by the Mexican festival - Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This festival honours the memory of departed loved ones and is traditionally celebrated with offerings of some of the departed’s favourite food and drink. Marigolds are scattered, and both the graves of the dead and the homes of the living are decorated with skulls created from sugar and decorated with intricate floral patterns. These sugar skulls (or candy skulls as they are also known) are the most memorable and potent symbol of the festival.
